On 8th March 2018 the EU Energy Focus team will hold a proposal development workshop for the European Commission’s Call for Proposals for Energy Efficiency projects (deadline 4th September 2018).

The event will be held in central London. It is being held the day after the Enterprise Europe Network Matchmaking event at Ecobuild to allow delegates to attend these complementary events.

The workshop will bring together organisations from around Europe to share proposal ideas and information on their capabilities to build consortia and commence proposal development.  All the Call topics covered require collaboration between a minimum of three independent legal entities from different Member States or Associated Countries. UK organisations continue to be eligible to participate fully in Horizon 2020.

Positive feedback was received from delegates at the 2017 event including “one of the best workshops that I have attended” and “templates provided were very useful”.

The event will start at 10am and will include an introduction to the Call topics and to the evaluation criteria followed by an opportunity to ask questions.   The rest of the day will be activities between potential partners on proposal development.  The event will finish at 4.30pm. Based on the information that you provide during the registration, you will be assigned to a group with other organisations with similar interests to work on proposal development.

The number of delegates is limited to 60.  There are 20 places reserved for participants from other Member States or Associated Countries to assist with the consortium development process.  Delegates will be selected according to their alignment with the topics of the Call. Initially we will only accept one delegate per organisation.

The following topics will be covered at the event should there be sufficient interest.
