The EIT Regional Innovation Scheme (EIT Regional Innovation Scheme - RIS) is the outreach program of the EIT Community. It was launched in 2014 to share successful practices and experiences of EIT Community activities and to increase participation in EIT's activities in Europe.

The Call for Proposals for the activities of the Regional Innovation Scheme (RIS) EIT Urban Mobility Center for Croatia, Latvia, Romania, Slovakia and Turkey is open until 2 August 2021. During the webinar, each of the two sessions offered (July 6 or 20) will have the opportunity to learn more about the new RIS HUB Call and get your questions answered.

In the session held on July 6, RIS Manager Bence Huba gave a presentation about the call timeline, all the requirements and especially the different work packages. Also, technical support on how to submit RIS proposals was provided during the webinar. The final part of the event was a Q&A with the audience able to ask questions directly to the RIS team. The webinar was published on the link on youtube.

A similar presentation will take place on 20 July on the published call for proposals (CfP) for RIS Hub activities in Croatia, Latvia, Romania, Slovakia and Turkey within the framework of the EIT Urban Mobility Regional Innovation Plan (RIS). Those interested who could not attend the first event can register via the link and attend the second event and get answers to their questions.

EIT Urban Mobility RIS Centers should ensure the active participation and cooperation of local Knowledge Triangle actors (industry, universities and research centres); it should also liaise with relevant national, regional and local authorities to ensure that they benefit from their expertise. RIS Centers will also assist in identifying potential funding and project opportunities for Knowledge Triangle Integration (KTI) and will also advise KTIs on how to begin project development and implementation.
