Scientific Outputs

By this project, concept design of Electronic Procurement Management System (E-ProMS) has been done. Market survey, economic feasibility has been completed and customer needs have been analysed.

Tackling ‘grand’ or societal challenges

Public procurements are about 15% of GDP for every country in EU members and also in Turkey. EU members are spending about 2 trillion Euro in every year. So every step and precaution for saving is quite important. On the other hand, suppliers for both public buyers or private sector buyers, need to get profit to survive however profit margins drop continuously in global economic environment. As a result either public or private sector buyers need to buy smarter, faster and in better conditions as sellers need to reach to right buyer at right time.

Industrial Innovation (including innovation in services as well as products and processes)

By the project, buyers can reach more seller in a very short time comparing to the conventional methods, get business intelligence and analytics for sellers, also every buying or selling transaction is in faster, more auditable and better conditions. The project is also creating a business environment without document and real time trackable processes.
